Refund policy

 

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase! If something isn’t quite right, we’re more than happy to assist you!

We’d also like to gently remind you that, because our items are handmade and crafted from natural materials, slight variations in size, color, and style are to be expected, and actually what make the item one of a kind!

 

Eligibility for Returns

  • You can return items within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be in the same condition as when you received them: unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging. 
  • You need the proof of purchase.
  • Exception: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

 

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us: Send an email to support@rauhacrafts.com with your order number (and the reason for the return). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  2. Return instructions: If your return is accepted, we’ll provide you with detailed return instructions. The returns should be sent back to our distribution center in Jyväskylä, Finland. 
  3. Package your item: Please make sure the item is securely packaged to prevent any damage during return shipping.
  4. We recommend obtaining proof of postage and using a traceable shipping method when returning an item.

 

Return Shipping Costs

  • The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is damaged or incorrect upon arrival.
  • For damaged or incorrect items, we will cover the return shipping fees.

 

Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and the amount will be automatically applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Please keep in mind that it may take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Please reach out to us if you haven’t received your refund after 15 business days following approval.
  • Please note:
    • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the product arrives damaged or incorrect.
    • Returns lost in transit without proof of shipment (tracking number) will not be reimbursed. This also applies to items not returned on time.

 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
